From dialogue to discovery: Exploring Extremadura

A much-loved feature of every Friends of the Countryside General Assembly is the opportunity to leave the conference room behind and discover the host region first-hand. This year, the “Saturday programme” offered four different routes through Extremadura. The Orange, Red, Blue and Green Tours introduced participants to family estates, farms, vineyards, rural businesses and historic towns. Each itinerary had its own focus, but all showed how closely agriculture, heritage, nature and family life remain connected across the region.
