Tuesday, 29 September 2026 | 17:00 to 19:00 | European Parliament, Brussels Room TBC
Register now for the European Parliament’s event on “The Stress Test of the Nature Directives: Next Steps for Wildlife Conservation and Management in Europe“, hosted by MEP Juan Ignacio Zoido (EPP, Spain) and organised in conjunction with the European Federation for Hunting and Conservation (FACE) and the European Landowners’ Organization.
With the EU Nature Directives undergoing a crucial “stress test”, this event will explore the practical implementation of these frameworks across the European Union. The session will bring together European policymakers, representatives of national hunting associations and other stakeholders to discuss the next steps for wildlife conservation and management in Europe. The discussion will focus on ensuring that future wildlife conservation policies are workable, evidence-based and effectively support management on the ground and rural livelihoods, in line with the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030.
The meeting will take place in person. For additional details and registration please reach out to delphine.dupeux@elo.org.
