How wildfires reshape summer grazing and test resilience

Across Europe, summers are getting hotter and drier, and wildfires are more common. Grazing helps reduce that risk. When herds keep grass short and break up brush, there is less fuel for fires to spread. When grazing declines, shrubs and dry grasses build up and fires can move faster.
