Extensive support from MEPs for the “Biodiversity, Hunting, Countryside” Intergroup

On 10 September 2024, 50 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) pledged support for re-establishing the “Biodiversity, Hunting, Countryside” Intergroup. Active since 1985, the Intergroup fosters cross-political dialogue on rural issues. At an event co-hosted by MEP Juan Ignacio Zoido and organized by FACE and the European Landowners’ Organization (ELO), the importance of countryside activities and sustainable land use was highlighted. FACE, ELO, and key MEPs are campaigning for the Intergroup’s re-establishment in the 2024-2029 term.
