Operation Pollinator survey

ELO and Syngenta have been collaborating for over 20 years through the Operation Pollinator program, providing tailored flower seed mixtures to support pollinator recovery and biodiversity. With current eco-schemes, access to subsidised seed mixtures for field margins, cover crops, and perennial systems is increasingly important. To better understand your needs, we seek your input on the potential demand for a service that would offer:

1. A free web or mobile app for growers, enabling easy field registration, restoration habitat targeting per field, access to tailored and subsidised seed mixtures (where applicable), and purchasing options, as well as verification features.
2. A bio-acoustic sensor network for value chain stakeholders and/or financial institutions, deployed strategically across supply chains or regions. A dedicated dashboard would visualise flying insect activity data, helping measure and demonstrate restoration impacts in collaboration with a trusted third-party provider.
