Stefanie Szalachy joined the European Landowners’ Organization (ELO) as Senior Project Manager, working on the Friends of the Countryside initiative and the Wildlife Estates Label.
Her professional background combines cultural heritage management, agricultural land stewardship and association work at European level. She has held senior operational and leadership roles at historic estates and foundations, including EU-funded projects, restoration programmes and stakeholder coordination.
Stefanie brings experience at the interface between landowners, institutions and policy, with a strong interest in sustainability, biodiversity and the long-term viability of rural land management. She also serves as a member of the board of the Hungarian Landowner Association.
